Rainy Day Rios & Ghillie Suits

By - Rick Barbee

I woke up this morning with the full intention of going after pigs at a wallow, that is about 300 yards due south of my house.

Buff's BlackWidow Bear

By - Marty Thomas

When a close friend of mine in Oklahoma said that if he had someone to go with him he would make another trip to Ontario for bear, I jumped at the chance to push him off the fence.

BEAR HUNT OF A LIFETIME

By  - Tom Lagatol

We left for Canada on Saturday afternoon around 4:45pm. That would get us up to our hunting camp a little early but in time to get settled and maybe even a little rest before our first hunt. My bud, Rich Grannis is an extraordinary hunter. We’ve been going on hunts together for about ten years. It just seems that we bring each other good luck. It’s always an enjoyable hunt, and we pretty much seem to be successful when hunting together.

Chasing Pigs in a Georgia River Swamp

By - Marty Thompson

With the cool, damp wind in our face we reminisced on past hunts shared. My hunting buddy and I go way back. We have been hunting and fishing together since junior high school, and have shared many memories of the furry and finny kind.

The boat ride was short, but long enough to make sure we were very awake before a face-to-face encounter with the swamp rooters we were chasing. The sun was quite high above the horizon already, since the tide charts determine our departure and return times to this marshy river swamp.
